Enhance Self-Esteem
To esteem something means to have a high opinion of it. Self-esteem is how one feel about one-self. It is the general judgment of the self. It is how much I like myself. Self-esteem is an individual’s assessment of self-worth and global feelings of competence and self-acceptance (Rosenberg, 1965). Self-esteem is the positive or negative way in which one evaluates one’s values, feelings, attitudes, and beliefs, fears and desires, and strengths and weaknesses (Berger, 2000).
